Abstract
Purpose:
This infographic-based synthesis presents the thematic, methodological, and geographical contributions of the SDGs Studies Review, highlighting how contemporary research advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It aims to provide an integrated overview of the journal’s mission, key research clusters, and scientific impact.
Design/Methodology/Approach:
The summary draws on visual and textual elements from the journal’s 2025 infographic edition, including thematic clusters, methodological mapping, and global authorship distribution. Insights reflect a combination of bibliometric analyses, quantitative modeling, mixed-methods studies, and reflective essays.
Findings:
Three dominant research clusters emerge: (1) technology and innovation for sustainability—especially the role of AI and robotics in renewable energy and education; (2) corporate governance and consumer responsibility; and (3) SDG-focused pedagogy and research advancement. The edition demonstrates strong international collaboration across Brazil, Germany, Sweden, the USA, Jamaica, Botswana, South Africa, and Nigeria. Cross-cutting convergences reveal technology as a transformative enabler, human behavior as a core driver of sustainability, and research-pedagogy integration as essential for SDG advancement.
Originality/Value:
The infographic provides a holistic, visually oriented synthesis that supports researchers, policymakers, and educators in understanding global trends, methodological diversity, and interdisciplinary intersections shaping SDG scholarship.
